Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering your yard card.  By ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Payment:  Payment is due at the time the order is placed.  All payments are transmitted securely and are not stored by Yard Cards of the North Shore, Corporation.

Delivery:  The yard cards will be installed the evening before your date unless other arrangements have been made.  The cards will be picked up the evening of your date.  All prices include delivery, install, and pickup of the yard card.

Please remember to notify the homeowner that they will be receiving the yard card so that they can make arrangements.  Homeowners need to turn off their sprinkler system and notify yard service companies for the duration of the yard card so no grass clippings get on the cards.  Please have the outside house lights on after dark for easier installation.

Please note:  Grass clippings are hard to remove and may damage the signs.  If a sign is damaged, the customer will be billed for a replacement.  All cards and stakes remain the property of Yard Cards of the North Shore, Corporation.  If the yard card is a gift, please make the homeowner at the address aware of the following information:  Please do not touch, move, or remove any of the cards.  Please do not tie other objects to the cards, such as balloons.  Please do not let children or pets play on or around the yard cards.

Any damage, destruction, or tampering with the Yard Cards of the North Shore cards and stakes is prohibited. Cards and stakes should not be moved without consent from Yard Cards of the North Shore.  You are responsible for replacement of the card or stake at full replacement value.

Inclement Weather:  We will not be able to install or pickup your yard card if there is inclement weather, such as lightning, thunderstorms, heavy rains, high winds, a blizzard, icy roads, or other hazardous weather conditions that prevent install, pickup, or will jeopardize the installer’s safety and/or the safety of our cards.  If we are not able to install the yard card due to inclement weather, the customer can choose to reschedule to a new date based on availability or receive a refund.

If the ground is froze, we will use stands to insert the stakes into.

Cancellation:  You may cancel your order up to thirty-five hours before your date and receive a full refund.  Cancellations after thirty-five hours may not receive a refund.  

Refund Policy:  No refunds will be given:

If the homeowner requests the yard card be removed.

If the customer gives us the wrong address.

If the installer is denied access to a gated community.

If animals or animal waste prevents the cards from being installed.

If there are errors that occur on order submission.

If there are any other circumstances that prevent the installer from setting up the display that are out of their control.

If the lawn is dry and difficult to install (we remind you to water).

Rush Orders:  If your date is less than thirty-five hours away, please call, we might be able to accommodate you.  

Rush orders will be accommodated with the following conditions:

Based on available inventory.

A rush fee may be applied.

Right of Refusal:  Yard Cards of the North Shore reserves the right to decline orders that are deemed inappropriate for the nature of our business.  This may include items of political, disrespectful, or lewd nature.  If an order is declined, a full refund will be given.  Yard Cards of the North Shore, Corporation and all representatives are not liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the use, install, or pickup of any rental.

Photographs:  By sharing your personal photographs of your yard card with Yard Cards of the North Shore you automatically give consent for the photographs to be used for advertising purposes, without compensation, including but not limited to Yard Cards of the North Shore’s website and social media outlets.  You are also giving consent for us to share any photographs that may also include children or minors in the photograph.  By placing an order with Yard Cards of the North Shore, Corporation you agree to all of the terms and conditions stated above.
